Fees
A $300.00 Materials and Activities Fee is assessed to all Early School Students.
A $400.00 Materials and Activities Fee is assessed to all Lower School Students.
A $500.00 Materials and Activities Fee is assessed to all Middle and Upper School Students.
(All fees are non-refundable)
6% Tuition Protection Plan is mandatory for Payment Plan B.
Payment Plans
A $250.00 non-refundable deposit is required with the signed contract. The following schedules are available to pay the tuition balance:
- Plan A - One payment payable to VBFS or administered by FACTS Management Co.
- Plan B - Offers payments options which will be administered by FACTS Management Co.

Tuition Assistance
We realize that meeting the cost of a private school education represents a significant investment for most families. We are committed to providing a comprehensive, need-based financial aid program that makes it financially feasible for admitted students to attend Virginia Beach Friends School. VBFS offers partial financial assistance based on need and other significant considerations.
Families who are interested in pursuing the benefits of a private school education can learn more about our philosophy and policy by meeting with the admissions director when they have questions about their family circumstances and the cost of a private school education.
FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for VBFS for the upcoming school year. Families applying for financial aid will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment. Applicants must apply online at www.factstuitionaid.com. Once an online application has been completed, the following information will need to be sent to FACTS to complete the application process.
- Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
- Copies of your W-2 forms for both applicant and co-applicant.
- Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.

Early Arrival and Late Departure Programs
Early Arrival and Late Departure programs are billed at the end of each month as a per-child fee, according to daily rates: (These costs are valid through December 31, 2011)
- Early Arrival Program:
7:00 – 8:45 a.m. $6.00 / day
7:30 – 8:45 a.m. $5.00 / day
8:00 – 8:45 a.m. $4.00 / day - Late Departure Program:
3:15 – 4:00 p.m. $6.00 / day
3:15 – 5:00 p.m. $7.00 / day
3:15 - 6:00 p.m. $8.00 / day - Full Day Program
7:00 – 6:00 pm $14.00/day
