Welcome to VBFS Athletics!
My name is Danny Grondin and I am proud to be the Athletic Director at Virginia Beach Friends School. I believe this school provides a wonderful, cooperative atmosphere that compliments our outstanding athletic program.
I believe that there is an athlete in every one of our students. We offer every child the opportunity to participate, compete and become part of a team. Good sportsmanship is emphasized and is the cornerstone of our program. Students learn the value of hard work, cooperation and responsibility while working towards a common goal.
While good sportsmanship is the cornerstone of our program, an outstanding and supportive parent community is the backbone. The coaching staff and I cannot express our appreciation enough to the parents for their tireless support. It is their steadfast dedication that has made VBFS Athletics so successful.
