The life of the Early School student is a very busy one.  It is a time of exploration and discovery.  Our Early School program is designed to enhance the development of our students and to lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning.

Curriculum is implemented through developmentally appropriate learning experiences that allow for differences in learning styles and developmental levels.  The sequence of experiences leads the student toward the acquisition of academic, cognitive, social and emotional skills. Classroom instruction is organized through units of study or themes, which integrate math, language arts, science, social studies and technology.  Real experiences and hands on activities insure each student’s active participation in his own learning process.

Regular classroom activities are further enhanced by Special classes in art, music, Spanish, Physical Education and Library.

A greater sense of the school community is achieved through partnering younger classes with older classes for reading, special projects and all school events.

Participation in age appropriate community service projects helps students develop an awareness of the larger community and our responsibility for one another.
