The Upper School operates on a semester calendar with a rotating block schedule that allows students to choose up to 8 courses each semester.

All courses given a letter grade (A-E) are counted towards a student’s GPA. The GPA is not weighted; it is calculated by adding the quality points earned for each course and dividing this number by the number of credits attempted. Students in each grade are ranked by GPA at the end of each school year.
